Job summary

NOV Tuboscope is seeking a production associate to support 2nd shift operations, performing multiple coating processes while maintaining productivity and quality. You will follow HSE, QMS, and SOPs to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, performing quality checks, and coordinating with the lead team to maintain smooth production flow. Prior coating and sand blasting experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years related experience desirable.
• Mechanical aptitude and safety awareness are essential.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform thermoclean, bake, blasting, coating and other liquid and powder coating operations per SOPs.
• Operate all assignments safely according to SOPs.
• Develop and monitor critical control points to ensure process quality.
• Set up equipment according to work orders.
• Communicate information to Leadperson/Supervisor/Manager for safe operations.
• Perform quality checks during production runs.
• Inform supervisor of any interruptions or irregularities in the line.
• Record QMS and daily production reports as instructed.

• Perform all assignments, duties and tasks in a safe manner while following Standard Operating Procedures.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain critical control points to ensure excellent process and product quality.
• Set up equipment according to work order.
• Communicate and coordinate all pertinent information to appropriate Leadperson/Supervisor/Manager to ensure effective and safe operations.
• Performing quality checks throughout production runs.
• Inform the Foreman/Supervisor/Manager of any interruptions or irregularities in the production line.
• Follow all Company HSE, QMS and SOP policies and procedures and report to the appropriate personnel of any violations of these policies or procedures.
• Record QMS Reports and/or daily production reports as instructed by Shift Supervisor and SOP.
• Perform other various job duties that may be required by the Leadperson/Supervisor/Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years of related experience is desirable
• Mechanical aptitude as demonstrated by prior experience.
• Ability to think ahead, anticipate problems and make decisions
• Self-motivated towards productivity improvements, quality, and safety awareness.
• Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends and some holidays as needed.
• Flexible and able to accept and respond to multi-task assignments quickly, readily, and safely.
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; primarily Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Prior coating and sand blasting experience preferred but not required.
