Responsibilities

• Maintain installation tools and keep vehicles clean and in good condition.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager/Scheduler to resolve issues on, during, and after installation.
• Manage time effectively to ensure on-time, thorough job completion.

You have come to the right place.SummaryThe primary responsibility of the Crew worker is to complete the precise installation of flooring and interior finishes.Essential FunctionsAccountable for training and monitoring apprentice installers and ensure the understanding and implementation of company policies and proceduresThoroughly review and understand all information listed on job paperwork prior to beginning a projectUpon completion of a job, carefully access, clean, and inspect work area for possible trade damage before leaving job siteContact Operations Manager and/or Scheduling team with job status and any possible issues that may arise before, during, and after installationResponsible for installation tools and their maintenanceEnsure that company vehicles used are well maintained and kept cleanUsing effective time management to ensure job completion is timely and thoroughResponsible for proper judgement and decision making skills to consider relative costs and benefits of potential actions, partnering with Operations Manager and/or Scheduler if needed to resolve issuesAccess performance of self and others to make improvements upon or take corrective action to ensure job completion is timely and thoroughAny other field duties as assignedEducation and ExperienceExperience in construction; including flooring, cabinet, and countertopsMust be able to work in fast paced environmentsStrong problem solving skillsOrganized and process orientedAttention to detailStrong oral and written communication skillsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, sit, walk, bend and stoop for 8+ hours.
