Job summary

Professional Transportation, Inc. in Birmingham, AL seeks Crew Transport Drivers to safely move railroad crews. Starting pay ranges from $14.00 to $15.00 per hour with shift differential for qualified shifts.

No prior professional driving experience required, training provided. Home daily with PTI’s well-established, safety-focused operations. PTI has provided crew transportation since 1980, offering company vehicles, health options, paid vacation, and a path for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years driving experience.
• Must pass post-offer drug screening, MVR, and homeland security background check.
• Arrive at the branch within 30 minutes to ensure on-time performance.

Responsibilities

• Promoting and practicing safety awareness.
• Prioritize on time performance to meet customer needs.
• Pick up and drop off customers safely to destinations.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Communicate timely with Dispatch Center.
• Open and close doors/hatches for crew members.
• Report defects or issues found during vehicle inspection.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
