Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is hiring a Restaurant Team Member. You will help with Fountain & Frozen, Food Production, Grill, Fryer, Switchboard and potentially Drive-Thru, delivering friendly service and high-quality food.

Ideal candidates show a positive attitude, calm demeanor, and a willingness to learn across stations. Irregular hours, weekends, and holidays are required in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Contagiously positive attitude and ability to stay calm in tough situations.
• Willingness to learn, grow, and cross-train across stations.
• Ability to multi-task and work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication and basic math/reading skills.
• Willingness to follow uniform appearance and hygiene standards.
• General knowledge of food service or retail operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Taking orders and making accurate changes quickly.
• Providing food service to guests with enthusiasm.
• Packaging all menu items and checking quality and consistency.
• Preparing drinks and ice cream treats.
• Preparing food orders, cooking on the grill, operating fry station as needed.
• Cleaning drive-in restaurants: trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes, wiping counters, sanitizing food areas.
