Job summary

Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Ashburn, VA is seeking an evening Crew Member for 3PM-9PM and 5PM-9PM shifts during weekdays and weekends. You will take customer orders, prepare food and smoothies from proven recipes, stock stations, and help keep the cafe clean and welcoming for guests.

Ideal candidates are reliable, communicative, and fast learners who can work well under pressure, read English, and operate a POS system.

WE ARE IN NEED OF EVENING TIME (3PM-9PM; 5PM-9PM) SHIFT SUPPORT DURING THE WEEK AND/OR WEEKENDS.

Our priority is customer service! Team members must be friendly and professional towards customers and each other at all times. As a Crew Member, you are expected to:

• take customer orders with our point-of-sale system
• make food and smoothies, following proven recipes
• prep food including accurate measuring and weighing
• stock, re-stock and clean-up individual stations and back of house area

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare recipes: Crew members will be trained to complete orders (food and smoothies) according to our recipes or as customer’s request. All orders are made fresh.
• Food prep: Crew members will be trained to prepare food for use in the front of the house stations
• Cashier: Crew members will be trained to take accurate orders from our guests and handle money transactions.
• Restock: Crew members will be trained to restock supplies and keep the flow of service running efficiently.
• CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN: Crew members will be trained on how to keep the Cafe in tip top shape at all times!
