Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in San Marcos, TX is seeking Crew Members to create and package menu items, take customer orders, and ensure an enjoyable, fast-service experience. You will be expected to work across stations, assist with food prep, and maintain a clean, safe work area in a team-focused environment.

Flexibility with hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, is required. Previous restaurant experience is a plus, but not required; training is provided to help you learn the menu and systems

Job Description

As a SONIC Drive-In Crew Member which may include Frozen, Fountain, Expo, or Switchboard your primary responsibility is to provide every guest with a SuperSONIC experience by:

• Creating and packaging delicious menu items
• Trying to beat your best record, every time
• Being proactive (If you're not busy now, you may be in 5 minutes!)
• Continuously communicating with the team to help motivate
• Being a menu genius and helping SONIC customers navigate all customizable combinations
• Maintaining SONIC safety and sanitation standards
• Taking customer orders and accurately processing order changes as needed
• Preparing drinks, frozen treats, and food items at assigned stations, including grill and fryer as needed
• Checking menu items for product quality, accuracy, and consistency before serving or packaging
• Cleaning assigned restaurant areas, including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes, wiping counters, and sanitizing food preparation areas
