Black Hills Bagels in Rapid City, SD is seeking friendly team members to provide welcoming service, operate the cash register, answer questions, and recommend menu items. You will prepare bagel sandwiches, toast bagels, brew espresso and coffee, and keep stations tidy while delivering quality to guests.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Experience in food service, coffee shop, retail, or customer service is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, welcoming service to every guest.
• Operate the cash register and accurately process customer orders and payments.
• Answer customer questions and make menu recommendations.
• Prepare bagel sandwiches according to recipes and quality standards.
• Toast bagels and prepare ingredients for sandwich production.
• Prepare espresso drinks, coffee beverages, smoothies, teas, and other menu items.
• Maintain beverage stations, condiment areas, and dining room cleanliness.
• Restock ingredients, cups, lids, supplies, and merchandise throughout the shift.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and company procedures.
• Assist with catering orders and large customer orders as needed.
• Work efficiently during busy rush periods while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Support teammates and contribute to a positive team environment.
