Job summary

Gulf Coast Underground, LLC is a full-service underground infrastructure construction and engineering company specializing in inspection, rehabilitation and replacement of municipal sewer systems. The role involves outdoor work, frequent travel, long hours, and operating equipment as part of a safety-focused team.

The ideal candidate enjoys field work, can work up to 60 hours weekly, and is willing to travel out of town for several days at a time.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Able to work 50–60 hours per week as business demands.
• Willing to travel and work out of town or out of state up to five consecutive days per week.
• Some night and weekend work required.
• Able to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, humidity and sun.
• Work in and around confined spaces around municipal sewer systems with safety procedures.
• Must pass DOT physicals, drug screening and MVR checks.
• Able to perform physically demanding work up to 50 pounds.
• Must stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb and perform manual labor for extended periods.

Minimum Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to regularly work 50–60 hours per week as business demands require.
• Must be willing and able to travel and work out of town or out of state for up to five (5) consecutive days per week. Some work schedules can be longer.
• Some night and weekend work is required.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, humidity, and direct sunlight.
• Must be willing to work in and around confined spaces and municipal sewer systems while following all applicable safety procedures.
• Must be able to successfully pass and maintain eligibility under company-required DOT physical examinations, drug screening requirements, and motor vehicle record reviews.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform manual labor for extended periods.
