Job summary

Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q is seeking Crew Members to join our fast-paced restaurant team. You will greet customers, take orders, process payments, and help maintain a clean dining room while delivering great service.

Ideal candidates are reliable, able to multitask, and comfortable standing for long periods. Flexible schedules and opportunities for growth are available in a growing chain.

Qualifications

We are hiring for the Smithfield's Chicken & BBQ.

Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q is a rapidly growing restaurant and franchise company with over 30 locations in North Carolina. Our crew members are trained across the board on all main functions related to restaurant general operations - from Front of the House (Cashiers and Food-runners) to Back of the House (Cooks - Food Prep and Cook Line)

Pay range $11/hr - $14/hr

Overtime Hours are available for Top Performers

*Pay will depend on availability to work, experience, and needs of the restaurant*

*under 18 rates may differ do to permit work restrictions

Crew Member Responsibilities:

• Ability to understand and follow instructions


• Ability to multi-task, work quickly and efficiently


• Clean tables, sweep/mop the floors, and keep the dining room and restrooms clean and organized


• Stand/ be active for long periods of time


• Reach above head, turn, twist and reach repetitively


• Greet the customers, take their orders and handle payments


• Follow proper cash handling procedures


• Brew iced tea, fill beverage orders and keep the counter area clean and stocked


• Deliver food orders to the tables and bag up take-out orders according to company standards


• Refill beverages and ensure our guests have everything they need to enjoy their meal


• Most Importantly: A good attitude, an open mind, and a Customer First mentality


• must be able to stand for extended periods of time


• must be able to lift 50 pounds.
