Job summary

Jimmy John’s in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an Inshop Crew Member to join our Freaky Fast team. You’ll help prepare sandwiches, take orders, handle the cash register, and ensure a clean, welcoming store environment.

We value teamwork, speed, and outstanding customer service. Flexible shifts available; no experience required—train on the job. You will learn to memorize the menu and deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30-40 lbs.
• Able to bend, reach and scoop during shifts.
• Friendly, professional demeanor and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast and friendly service to customers.
• Greet and thank every customer with a smile and eye contact.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions following policy.
• Maintain a clean store environment and restock as needed.
• Assist in sandwich preparation and basic prep tasks as required.

We are looking for the next ROCK STAR to join our family at Jimmy John’s!!!

Real people serving awesome sandwiches to real people in 30 seconds or less, and assisting in customers receiving deliveries in under 12 minutes!

Other than making fast and accurate sandwiches. Inshop Crew Members also take orders over the phone and register, help maintain a clean environment, assist in prepping product, and complete other tasks inside the restaurant.

We have a freaky fast work pace and our managers keep the stores upbeat - we're having fun and providing excellent customer service!

Memorizing the menu is just the start of learning about and representing our Freaky Fresh Freaky Fast product!!

Requirements:

• Responsible for customer product and service standards
• Foster an environment of teamwork

• Execute quality store operations
• Clean store, smallwares, etc as necessary
• Adhere to all food, safety and security guidelines

Monday thru Friday Day Shifts are available.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs. regularly throughout shifts
• Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop through-out assigned shift
