THE MISSION

My Tea Corner exists to provide deliciously healthy boba and snack options to a world filled with artificial additives and preprocessed ingredients. We care deeply about our staff, our products, and aim to be consistent with our quality. We’re serious about having fun! We want to provide a memorable experience to our customers, family, friends and staff.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Engaging customers in a friendly manner and accurately taking food and drink orders
  • Safely and consistently preparing and serving food and beverages
  • Guiding customers through menu choices, creating a welcoming and positive experience.
  • Processing payment from customers
  • Quickly resolving, de‑escalating customer concerns and conflicts. Communicating appropriately.
  • Maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, clutter free work environment including workstation, kitchen, front of the house and restrooms.
  • Carrying our scheduled deep cleaning and maintenance. Troubleshooting and scheduling repair as needed.
  • Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service
  • Monitoring, recording storage temperatures, chemical concentrations, inventory levels and addressing or escalating any deviations.
  • Creating a culture of transparency by communicating concerns and issues and collaborating in a timely manner.
  • Driving, innovating and engaging to improve service, workflow and efficiency
  • Sharing your passion and influencing co‑workers on sustainability and giving back to the community.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekend and holiday with weekend availability is a must
  • Honest, caring, innovative and fun
  • Food Safety Conscientious. Currently holds a Foods Handler Certificate or is able to acquire one within 20 days of hire.
  • Ability to safely operate fryer, grill, oven, blender, dicer and other restaurant equipment
  • Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and minimal to no supervision
  • Basic math skills
  • Legible handwriting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Enjoy cooking
  • Previous work experience as a Barista or Waiter/Waitress
  • Previous food handling experience
  • Hands‑on experience with brewing equipment
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs on occasion, less weight more frequently
  • Stand on your feet for extended periods of time (most of shift), Kneel, crouch,
  • Reach, hold, blend, shake, finger dexterity
