Job duties include (but are not limited to):

• Food prep and burrito building
• Customer service
• Cash handling
• Kitchen and restaurant sanitation
• Other duties as assigned

Working experience: No experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Physical requirements:

• Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance
• Ability to move and stand for long periods

Reports to the Team Leader or Manager on duty.

Panchero's started as a local favorite in Iowa City in 1992 and has grown into a beloved Mexican fast-casual brand. We pride ourselves on scratch-made dough, fresh-pressed tortillas, and our signature queso, which is a fan favorite for its cheesy, velvety texture and zesty flavor.

Our fresh-pressed tortillas made from house-made dough every morning are the foundation of our burritos, supporting all the freshest ingredients for a satisfying meal. We do everything from scratch, avoiding shortcuts like fryers or frozen products, to deliver authentic flavor.

We also focus on mixing ingredients thoroughly in every bite, using our special tool, Bob the Tool, to ensure consistency and quality in every burrito.

Our approach to service is to make every visit memorable by preparing food from scratch, maintaining our restaurants, and providing quick, courteous service through online ordering, delivery, and catering.
