Job summary

Yellowstone Landscape is seeking experienced Crew Leaders to supervise field crews in tree care, ensuring safety and quality from start to finish. You will be a working team member who oversees all aspects of a crew from start to completion.

You will work hands-on, operate bucket trucks and heavy equipment, perform pre-trip inspections, and coordinate with branch management and customers to meet project specs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience leading a tree care crew.
• Safe driving record and MV report clearance.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform tree care services with the crew per client specs.
• Operate bucket truck and other equipment as needed.
• Complete daily pre-trip inspection reports.
• Coordinate with branch management, customers and employees.
• Safely transport crews to job sites.

Job description

We are seeking experienced Crew Leaders to work safely in the field for our Tree Care division. You will be a working team member who oversees all aspects of a crew from start to completion.

What would my responsibilities be?

• Supervise and perform tree care service activities along with the crew according to property and client specifications. Activities include tree removal, trimming, roping, rigging, storm work, removal of limbs near energized conductors, stump grinding, etc.
• Operate bucket truck, aerial lift, chipper, stump grinder and other equipment as needed.
• Demonstrate correct equipment use to crew members.
• Complete a pre-trip inspection report each day.
• Coordinate with branch management, customers, and employees as needed.
• Use landscaping tools and operate heavy equipment as needed. Safely drive crews to and from jobs, adhering to the Company's Safety Policy and ensuring that the public will be safe while in contact with crews.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• CDL License a plus.
• Experience managing a crew consisting of laborers providing Tree Care or related services
• Minimum 1-year experience working as a climber or bucket truck operator
• Must have reliable transportation to the Branch or first job site
• Safe driving record and ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Report (“MVR”) required
• Strong English communication skills. Spanish a plus
