Job summary

Juniper is seeking a Crew Leader for our Landscape Maintenance teams to supervise mowing and pruning crews at job sites. You will lead operations, maintain schedules, and train crew members to deliver safe, high-quality landscapes for clients.

Ideal candidates have landscape experience with prior supervisory exposure, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work outside in challenging weather conditions. We offer growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required or preferred.
• Willingness to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily site operations for mowing and/or pruning crew.
• Maintain production schedules and ensure maintenance service expectations are met.
• Assist with training and development of crew members.
• Daily time-keeping of work hours on jobsites for crew members.
• Ensure all crew members perform their work safely.
• Ensure equipment is in working order and properly maintained.
• Use hand tools, power tools and equipment to perform landscape duties.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Our Crew Leaders perform work on the jobsites and lead other crew members in a safe and quality manner to ensure beautiful landscapes for our clients. Juniper's Landscape Maintenance Crew Leaders may oversee our mowing crews or landscape pruning/detail crews, or a combination of these landscape operations.

Skills

• Valid driver's license and ability to clear Motor Vehicle Record review preferred
• Landscaping experience and prior supervisory experience preferred
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred
• Must be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight)
• Must be able and willing to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day
• Must be able to use hand tools and power equipment
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
