The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of lead experience in outdoor trades, strong communication, and the ability to work at heights. Pay is $26/hour with overtime during peak season and a path to year-round Lawn Care Technician roles.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Massachusetts driver’s license with 3+ years of driving history is preferred.
• Experience leading crews in outdoor trades; holiday lighting installation preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather and at heights; climb 28-foot ladders daily.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage loading/unloading of trucks, trailers, materials and equipment.
• Supervise crew members to ensure safety, quality and productivity.
• Train and provide ongoing direction to crew members.
• Prepare equipment and materials for daily installation projects.
• Install and remove holiday lighting and décor safely and efficiently.
• Apply decorating techniques for lighting bushes, windows, trees, roofs, etc.
• Operate trucks, trailers, and bucket trucks.
• Inspect work to ensure quality standards and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment and job sites in a professional appearance.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team.

We're hiring a Crew Leader - Holiday Lighting Installation. This active, hands-on leadership position is ideal for candidates with experience leading crews in construction, roofing, landscaping or other outdoor trades who enjoy physical, outdoor work, leading others and ensuring high-quality work. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, confidence and experience working at heights, including climbing 28-foot ladders daily.

This is more than a seasonal opportunity. Build a year-round career with us by starting in holiday lighting and transitioning into a full-time Lawn Care Technician - Pesticide Applicator role. We provide training and support to obtain your Massachusetts Pesticide License.

Requirements for Crew Leader - Holiday Lighting Installation:

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license with 3+ years of driving history
• Clean driving record
• 1-3 years of experience leading crews in construction, roofing, landscaping or related outdoor trades; strong preference for experience with holiday lighting installation
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, including cold
• Comfortable working at heights and climbing 28-foot ladders daily
• Experience with frequent ladder use
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally
• Self-motivated, dependable, able to work independently and as a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Available to work scheduled hours and overtime during peak season
• Must pass a background check

Physical Requirements include ability to:

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Walk, stand, climb, crouch, and perform physical work for extended periods
• Safely use small equipment, hand and power tools
• Safely operate equipment within manufacturer's 300 lb. weight limit
• Safely work around vehicles, trailers, and other equipment
