Team Fishel, a leader in utility construction, seeks a Drill Crew Leader for underground projects in the Saluda, VA area. You will assist the foreman by guiding field crews to meet project goals safely and efficiently.

The role requires leading a 3-person crew, reading blueprints and specs, and operating directional drill equipment. A Class A CDL is required. Starting pay ranges from $28 to $30 per hour with benefits.

• Ability to work from blueprints and specifications.
• Must hold and maintain a Class A CDL license.

Description

Team Fishel , the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction and network installation business, is hiring Drill Crew Leaders for underground construction projects in the Saluda, VA area. The Drill Crew Leader will be responsible for assisting the foreman by leading field crews to meet project goals in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

Ensures accuracy of daily field reports

Develops work-around procedures for maintaining crew productivity during delays caused by other trades, customer, lack of materials, absenteeism, etc.

Monitors Quality Assurance and ensures installations meet customer specification and industry standards

Ensures safety practices are observed during their work

Reports to Foreman

Requirements & Qualifications

Ability to effectively lead a 3-person drill crew

Ability to operate and maintain directional drill and locating equipment

Ability to work from blueprints, and specifications

Must possess and maintain a Class A CDL license and meet Team Fishel driver qualifications

Starting pay $28 - $30 / hour dependent upon applicable experience and certifications.
