Teknor Apex Company in Jacksonville, TX is seeking a production operator to ensure daily production requirements are met and future needs planned. You will oversee safe operation of equipment, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with operators to maintain efficient flow, including changeovers.

Must have 2–3 years in plastics processing, forklift certification, and strong communication skills. The role requires lifting up to 55 lbs, respirator use, and the ability to pass a drug screen and

Formación

• High school diploma or GED
• Two to three years' experience in operation of product equipment and knowledge of plastics and plastics processes preferred
• Familiarity with plastic extrusion equipment preferred
• Must be certified in forklift operations
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be accurate, conscientious, and able to perform multiple tasks
• Must show a demonstrated ability to lead a team
• Physically capable of lifting and carrying 55 pounds
• Physically capable of wearing a respirator
• Ability to pass a drug screen and physicians physical examination

• Maintain smooth process flow and assist on changeovers and line operation
• Enter shift performance data into daily production report
• Follow all company rules and policies
• Work overtime and different shifts if necessary
• Supervise a safe shift and prepare for future runs
• Follow procedures and test methods for in-process testing and QC inspection of finished product

• Enforces quality standards as set forth by customers and Teknor Color Company
• Obtain batch cards for products
• Oversee the safe operation of all equipment at all times
• Troubleshoot and operate equipment as required
• Work with all operators to maintain a smooth and productive process flow including but not limited to helping on changeover and line operation
• Computer entry of shift performance on daily production report
• Understand/follow/enforce all company rules and policies at all times
• Work overtime and different shifts if necessary
• Supervise a safe shift, working in a safe manner
• Prepare equipment/raw materials/people for future runs before immediate need
• Follow applicable procedures, work instructions, and test methods to perform and maintain records on in-process production testing and Q.C. inspection of finished product

HOURS: 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm with Training on 1st.
