BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Mowing Crew Lead/Equipment Operator to provide leadership in maintaining golf course grounds by performing essential duties. This role requires overseeing daily tasks and ensuring high-quality turf maintenance across multiple sites.

The position involves mowing turf with various mowers, operating a gas-powered blower, and collecting leaves and debris while coordinating team efforts to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

Job Summary

The Mowing Crew Lead/Equipment Operator, Lead provides leadership in maintaining the grounds of golf courses by performing some or all of the following duties.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Mow turf areas using various-sized power mowers
• Operate a towed-behind gas-powered blower
• Pick up leaves, trash, and cut grass and place onto a truck or trailer

Education And Experience

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Ability to report for daily work at different job sites within the region to perform required tasks

Physical Demands/Requirements

• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
• Regular exposure to outside environment including rain, cold, sun, or night
• Repetitive movement- standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, stooping, sitting

Work Environment

• Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic
• Work near or about natural bodies of water
• Ability to work in extreme conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit
• Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods

Compensation Pay Range

$20+/hour depending on experience
