Qualifications

  • Completion of a two-year apprenticeship program.
  • Experience in construction preferred.
  • Ability to operate tools and equipment listed in the posting.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Manual dexterity for repetitive motions.
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload equipment
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and staging
  • Level ground for scaffolding
  • Tend mortar and grout
  • Move mortar and grout between wheelbarrows and buckets
  • General cleanup and debris removal
  • Place, push, pull, and shovel concrete
  • Vibrate concrete
  • Provide guidance to Laborer I, II, Helpers, and Apprentice
  • Build relationships across diverse backgrounds
  • All other duties as assigned
