Overview

Lead a Professional Moving Crew Piece by Piece Moving and Storage is seeking experienced Crew Chiefs to lead moving teams in Charlestown, MA. This role is designed for seasoned movers who are ready to take ownership of the job site, guide a crew, and deliver an exceptional experience for customers. If you have 5+ years of moving industry experience and at least 1 year leading a crew, this is an opportunity to step into a leadership role with a company that values professionalism, accountability, and high-quality service.

Salary: $26 - $33 per hour

What You’ll Do

As a Crew Chief, you will be responsible for leading a moving crew and ensuring every job is completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Leading a crew on residential and commercial moves
• Directing team members on proper packing, wrapping, and loading techniques
• Ensuring furniture and household goods are protected and transported safely
• Communicating clearly with customers throughout the move
• Managing the pace and workflow of the job
• Maintaining organization and safety on the truck and job site
• Reporting job details and updates to dispatch and operations

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in the moving industry
• At least 1 year of experience leading a moving crew
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Deep knowledge of proper moving techniques and equipment
• Ability to manage a team and maintain a professional job site
• Reliable and punctual

Compensation

CDL license preferred, but not required.
