FedEx in Memphis, TN is seeking a driver for on-site operations. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of general business or driving experience, and DOT certification with a valid license.

You will follow FedEx safety rules and maintain a safe, sanitary environment on the crew bus, performing other duties as assigned. Strong communication in English is needed to read traffic signs and interact with safety officials.

Essential Functions

• Cleans and disinfects crew bus in order to maintain a safe and sanitary environment for the driver and passengers.
• Knows and follows all FedEx safety rules of the ramp in maintaining a safety focus at all times while driving.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED.

Related experience may offset degree requirements and related education/degree may offset experience requirements.

Minimum Experience

One (1) year general business experience. Must have driving experience and be safety conscious.

Must be D.O.T. certified and possess a valid driver license.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Good oral communication skills. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job Conditions

Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Non-covered safety sensitive position.

Medical exam required.

Preferred Qualifications

The desired location for the position is Memphis, TN. Employees are required to work at the FedEx location five days a week.
