Job summary

Trader Joe's in Portland, OR is seeking Crew Members to join our store teams. You’ll contribute to a WOW customer experience by assisting shoppers, stocking shelves, and operating the register with a friendly, efficient approach.

You’ll learn a lot and can participate in various tasks beyond one role. Evening and weekend availability is highly valued as demand fluctuates with store hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform tasks quickly and accurately.

Our Crew Members create a warm and friendly shopping experience in our stores. We answer questions, offer suggestions, and ensure our customers know they are welcomed and cared for. We entertain customers and make grocery shopping an exciting adventure.

Some responsibilities may include:

• Working on teams to accomplish goals

• Creating signage to inform and delight customers


• Helping customers find their favorite products

You'll learn a lot. You're not stuck doing one task here. Each Crew Member contributes to creating a WOW customer experience by participating in all aspects of the job.

If you have experience in art including penmanship, working with chalk, and large signage, that's a plus.

If you have a passion for people and a fervor for food, we'd love to meet you. We can teach you the rest.

Stores have the greatest need for people that can work evenings and weekends.
