Job summary

El Rancho Supermercado in Dallas is seeking a Cremeria Clerk to assist the Cremeria Department and deliver high-quality customer service while following safe food handling procedures.

You will help ensure cremeria products are sliced and rotated properly, maintain clean displays, assist with receiving and stocking, and support team members in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

JOB SUMMARY:

The Cremeria Clerk's role is to assist and support the Cremeria Department -- by provide a high level of customer service and practice safe food handling procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Ensures cremeria products are sliced and available.
• Ensures product's quality, protections, accuracy, and proper rotation in coolers.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation requirements.
• Keeps cremeria displays clean and presentable.
• Store cleaning supplies properly.
• Responsible for receiving, unloading, stocking, filling, and rotating merchandise.
• Verifies cases, coolers, and refrigerators temperatures.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

• The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Walk and work in Freezer and Refrigerator Cooler as needed throughout the day.
