Job summary

Link Logistics Real Estate is seeking a motivated Credit Risk Summer Intern to join our Chicago team. You will assist in credit analysis, portfolio monitoring, and underwrite tenant credit for commercial real estate.

The role offers hands-on finance experience and exposure to data-driven recommendations. The internship targets students pursuing Finance, Accounting, or Real Estate with strong analytical and communication skills, and a 30/hour base pay.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate or related field with expected graduation between 2027 and 2028.
• Foundational knowledge of financial statement analysis and corporate finance concepts.
• Prior internship, coursework or project experience in finance, banking, CRE or accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze borrower and tenant financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flows.
• Conduct initial credit reviews and prepare concise written credit summaries.
• Calculate and monitor key financial metrics, credit indicators and covenant compliance.
• Review public filings, industry data and other sources to support credit assessments.
• Maintain accurate customer financial records and assist with ongoing portfolio monitoring.

Link is looking for a motivated Credit Risk Summer Intern to join the team in Chicago. This intern will support credit analysis and portfolio monitoring while gaining hands‑on exposure to commercial real estate, tenant underwriting and credit risk management. The role is well suited for a student who enjoys working with financial data, identifying trends and translating analysis into clear business recommendations.

What You Will Do:

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate or a related field, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Foundational knowledge of financial statement analysis and corporate finance concepts.
• Prior internship, research, coursework or project experience in finance, banking, commercial real estate or accounting preferred.
• Demonstrated interest in credit underwriting, risk management or commercial real estate.
• Strong analytical, organizational and written communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities in a professional environment.

$30/hour represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
