Job summary

Seacoast Bank is seeking an experienced Credit Risk Review (CRR) lead to manage data integration and develop data-driven risk analyses for diverse credit portfolios. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or Accounting or equivalent work experience.
  • MBA, CFA/FRM or formal financial services credit training are highly desired.
  • 10+ years’ financial services experience with extensive knowledge of credit and credit risk.

Responsibilities

  • Manage data integration for CRR to perform core functions.
  • Develop and maintain data-driven risk analysis for subject credit risk portfolios.
  • Develop data-driven sample selection files aligned with U.S. regulatory expectations.
  • Generate timely credit risk reporting for monthly risk assessments and regulatory requests.
  • Manage recording and tracking of CRR Issues on firm-wide systems.
  • Improve CRR workpaper platform for stability and audit trails.
  • Ensure compliance with UBS data and systems policies and U.S. regulatory requirements.
  • Plan and execute the CRR annual plan.
  • Mentor and manage a small team (1-3).
  • Travel as needed.

JOB SUMMARY

ManageCreditRiskReview’s (CRR)creditrisk analytics in support of its regulatory mandate to provide a fully independent analysis of U.S.-basedcreditrisk, including ensuring risk rating integrity and the conformity of allcreditextensions with UBS policy and regulatory guidance/expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage all data integration necessary for CRR to performits core functions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive, data-driven risk analysis for subject credit risk portfolios.
  • Develop and maintain data-driven sample selection files which alignwith U.S. regulatory expectations. Utilize data to inform sample selection via the identification of higher-riskcredits.
  • Generate timelycreditrisk reporting to be used in monthly risk assessments, quarterly Board reports, and ad-hoc/regulatory requests.
  • Manage the recording and tracking of CRR Issues on firm-wide issue tracking systems as necessary.
  • Manage continual improvement of CRR’s workpaper platform to ensure stability, efficiency and audit trails.
  • Ensure all data touchpoints are in full compliance with UBS global and local protocols and requirements.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of the CRR annual Plan as directed.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of, and CRR’s full compliance with, all UBS data and systems policies and relevant U.S. regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and manage CRR’s emergency contingency and recovery plans.
  • Undertale additional responsibilities/special projects as directed.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS,Finance, Business Administration, Economics or Accounting or equivalent work experience is necessary. MBA, financial certification (CFA, FRM, etc.) and/or successful completion of a formal financial servicescredittraining program highly desired.
  • 10+ years’ financial services experience with extensive knowledge of credit and credit risk in the commercial/ industrial, commercial real estate and/or retail industries.
  • 10+ years’ experience working with SQL, Oracle, Qlikview and/or Python in data management in direct support of the credit, credit risk, credit risk review, credit administration and/or credit regulatory reporting function of a financial institutions and/or U.S. regulatory agency (FRB, OCC, FDIC, etc.).
  • Familiarity with a variety ofcreditproducts (corporatecredit, mortgages, acquisitions financing, project financing, trade financing, leasing, securitizations, derivatives, etc.) and a willingness to learn newcreditproducts.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products suite.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication (written and verbal) and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to mentor and manage a small team (1-3 people).
  • Some travel may be required.
