SMBC Group is seeking a Credit Risk Model Owner VP in New York City to manage and monitor credit risk models for the Americas Division. This role involves regular model performance monitoring, governance, and communication with stakeholders including the Tokyo Head Office.

SMBC is seeking a Credit Risk Model Owner VP to serve as local model owner to monitor and manage credit risk related models for the SMBC Americas Division portfolio. This role is expected to conduct regular model monitoring procedure, findings management, and model governance, communicate with key model stakeholders including Tokyo Head Office, and report to team leads and senior management.
The anticipated salary range for this role is between $133,000.00 and $181,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.
