Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking a Credit Risk Intern for a 10-week program at our Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI. You will perform ad hoc analyses, build forecasting models for delinquencies, losses, and revenues, and develop insights to inform risk strategies for the Kohl’s charge portfolio.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in data gathering, visualization, and storytelling for leadership, with a hybrid schedule (office Mon-Thu, Fridays flexible) and housing/transportation support for interns.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate status with focus on data analytics or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to collect, manipulate, and visualize data to inform decisions.
• Familiarity with data sources, data quality checks, and basic forecasting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Review ad hoc analyses for customer, program, offer, or channel needs.
• Partner with teams to identify key KPIs for business decisions.
• Develop end-to-end timelines for analysis deliveries.
• Collect and organize data to answer business questions and create visualizations.
• Build insights and storytelling assets for leadership presentations.
• Assist in forecasting losses and revenues for credit portfolios.
