Job summary

Priority1 is a technology-enabled third-party logistics company focused on moving over 1.5 million shipments annually. The Credit Analyst role provides analytical and credit evaluation support for the Financial Services team, including an independent assessment of creditworthiness for new and existing customers.

The role also involves communicating credit decisions, ensuring accurate billing setup, and supporting leadership with ad-hoc reporting and narrative analyses to improve performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of credit, accounts receivable, accounting, finance or general business experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and ERP platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; flexibility with changing hours.

Responsibilities

• Approve and control extension of credit for new and existing customers per LOA guidelines.
• Review existing customer base monthly to ensure adequate credit limits.
• Confirm billing requirements and promote best payment practices (ACH/Online).
• Communicate with internal partners on credit decisions and timely reviews.
• Review and approve extended terms requests per LOA guidelines.
• Participate in periodic reviews with financial services leadership and take action to improve performance.
• Prepare narrative analyses and recommendations for credit requests exceeding LOA.
• Review accounts on credit hold and provide recommendations for order release.
• Provide administrative support for financial services leadership and ad-hoc reporting.
