Job summary

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago is seeking a summer intern to join the Credit Analysis team. You’ll work on real-world projects that enhance credit risk analysis and support decision-making for our member institutions.

As part of a collaborative, in-office environment, you’ll use Tableau and SQL to analyze financial data, monitor risk, and participate in cross-team initiatives throughout the summer.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited institution.
• GPA of at least 3.0 and in good academic standing.
• Field of study: Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting or related business discipline.

Responsibilities

• Analyze income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to inform business strategy.
• Leverage Tableau and SQL to extract data, perform analyses and create reports for stakeholders.
• Assess performance trends and monitor risk limits to minimize default risk.
• Gain exposure to financial modeling, validation, back-testing and benchmarking.
