Job summary

JPMorganChase in New York is seeking an entry level/ associate Quantitative Research Analyst to cover the Treasury CIO Business. You will develop and maintain models for valuation, risk, P&L, and analytics across credit products.

The role focuses on the Credit needs within the Treasury & CIO unit, delivering analytics and supporting quantitative requirements. A strong foundation in math, statistics, and software design is essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in math, statistics, physics, financial engineering, CS or equivalent.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Strong software design and data science skills, preferably with Python knowledge.
• Pro-active attitude and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure best-in-class analytics to effectively risk manage substantial holdings within their business unit.
• Document ideas and implement solutions or liaise with broader team to achieve this.
• Identify areas to streamline and improve analytics supporting decision-making.
• Collaborate with model control teams to facilitate review and approval of models.
