You’ll review policies, process changes, and train frontline staff. The typical schedule is 40 hours per week with a pay range of $24.56 to $35.62 per hour.

Qualifications

• Background in administering non-deposit insurance related products.
• Knowledge of consumer related insurance.
• Knowledge of protection products such as AD&D, debt cancellation, credit insurance, mechanical breakdown protection, GAP and related protections.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class service to members seeking information on protection products.
• Maintain and update policies to provide favorable coverage, cost, and terms.
• Respond to member inquiries regarding coverage, limitations and claim procedures.
• Review policies for regulatory compliance.
• Schedule and support protection products training sessions for frontline staff.
• Provide technical and operational assistance to frontline team members on protection products and procedures.
• Advise members on credit union products by assessing needs and concerns.
• Process changes including coverage changes on member policies and coordinate with vendors.
• Follow up with vendors to ensure changes are processed accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with regulatory and training requirements including BSA regulations.

Responsible for maintaining and updating existing policies in order to provide the most favorable coverage, cost, and terms for protection products. Responsible for retaining and servicing existing policies.Responds to Member inquiries regarding policy coverage, limitations and claim processing procedures.Reviews policies sold for compliance with applicable regulations. Maintains appropriate California Department of Insurance license(s) required to issue and service protection products available through SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union.Schedules and support protection products training sessions for SchoolsFirst FCU frontline teammembers.Provides technical and operational assistance to frontline teammember on all protection products and procedures.Provides consultative services to Members regarding credit union products and services by assessing the Member's needs, addressing their concerns and gaining agreement.Processes changes, including coverage changes on Member policies.
