Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial banking, credit analysis, loan underwriting, financial analysis, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Ability to analyze complex financial information and identify credit risks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of independent thinking.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and other financial information to evaluate creditworthiness.
• Perform detailed analysis of historical and projected financial performance; assess revenue, profitability, liquidity, and debt service.
• Calculate and interpret financial ratios, debt service coverage, and loan-to-value ratios.
• Analyze repayment sources and identify primary and secondary sources of repayment.
• Review collateral information, lien positions, and guarantor support.
• Assist with new loan requests, renewals, modifications, and annual reviews.
• Assist with portfolio monitoring and credit risk identification.
• Support examinations, audits, and regulatory requests.
• Maintain knowledge of lending regulations and bank policies.
