Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, or related field is required.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Proficiency in MS Office and financial spreading software is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist Underwriters in analyzing credit risk and in preparing high-quality financial spreads and credit documentation.
• Spread borrower tax returns and internal financial statements using spreading software and Excel.
• Prepare assigned sections of credit memorandums for Underwriter review (credit reports, bank statements, financial spreads).
• Prepare full credit memorandums for SBA microloan requests per policies and SBA guidelines.
• Review tax transcripts to verify borrower-reported financial information.
• Pull and compile due diligence reports, including RMA data and NHRA reports.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial and credit documentation before submission.
• Maintain organized electronic credit files and supporting documentation.
• Communicate with Underwriters and stakeholders regarding requirements and follow-up items.
• Participate in other related duties and projects as assigned.
