Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Credit Underwriter Analyst to support moderately complex client relationships. You will analyze financial statements, assess risk, and prepare financial analyses using advanced tools and systems.

You will review covenant compliance, collateral, and policy requirements to ensure alignment with the bank’s risk appetite, and participate in loan structure discussions and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes client financial information, identification/mitigation of potential risks, compliance with regulatory requirements and evaluation of collateral in determination of credit worthiness
• Completes monitoring activities via analysis of clients’ financial performance and collateral evaluation to ensure appropriate requirements are met
• Listens in to client meetings to develop a deeper understanding of the client's business, management team, and past and future performance
• Reviews completed client requests to ensure compliance with policy and procedures
• Understands how credit data is used internally and provided to regulatory partners
• Assists with periodic portfolio reviews
• Participates in loan structure conversations and completion of loan documentation
