Job summary

You will analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other data to support sound lending decisions in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include preparing credit narratives, monitoring client credit, and collaborating with sales, collections, and risk teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field, or 10+ years of industry experience in lieu.
• 3+ years in equipment finance underwriting, commercial or retail bank lending, or commercial credit analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements and credit reports to assess client creditworthiness.
• Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for approvals or declines.
• Monitor existing clients' credit status and adjust limits as needed.
• Collaborate with sales and collections to manage credit risk.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential credit issues early.
• Maintain organized records of evaluations and decisions.
• Draft financial covenant language for leases and loans.
• Support portfolio reporting for senior management and partners.
