Job summary

Flagshipacc, a leading national consumer finance company, is seeking a Credit Analyst / Buyer to support its Credit team by capturing approved contracts, reviewing loan documentation, and coordinating with automotive dealerships to fund deals. This role starts onsite and transitions to a hybrid schedule in Tempe, AZ, with flexibility for nights and weekends as business needs dictate.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in auto lending and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years in an automotive lending or consumer credit environment.
• Prior experience in subprime lending, dealer relationships, or capture functions preferred.
• Knowledge of credit, finance, and funding functions within an auto finance company.

Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and communicate credit applications per internal policies.
• Answer calls and make outbound calls to dealerships to communicate credit decisions and follow up on approvals.
• Effectively negotiate with dealerships to capture approved applications.
• Review loan documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Review loan and income documentation (paystubs, bank statements, tax returns, W-2s, 1099s, awards).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealership partners.
• Provide exemplary service aligned with company standards.
• Collaborate with Credit, Funding, and other teams to meet goals.

We are seeking a Credit Analyst / Buyer to support our Credit team by capturing approved contracts, reviewing loan documentation, and communicating directly with automotive dealerships to drive contract completion and funding success.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and communicate credit applications in accordance with internal company credit policies and procedures.
• Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls to dealerships to communicate credit decisions and follow up on approvals.
• Effectively negotiate with dealerships to “capture” approved applications.
• Review and interpret loan and income documentation, including paystubs, bank statements, tax returns, W-2s, 1099s, and award letters.
• Review loan documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with dealership partners.
• Provide exemplary service levels in alignment with company standards.
• Work collaboratively with Credit, Funding, and other internal teams to exceed company quality and volume goals.

Experience:
