POSITION DESCRIPTION:Commercial Credit and Loan Administration, under the general supervision of the Senior Credit Risk Manager, evaluates the financial condition of businesses and individuals applying for commercial loans.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:Analyze commercial loan requests and make credit recommendations to the appropriate lending authority in accordance with the Bank's Loan Policy and Procedures Manual:
Demonstrates the ability to use data, information, and communication technologies to locate, evaluate, create, and communicate information effectively, requiring both cognitive and technical skills.
Banking education, training, or professional certifications are preferred. Strong financial analytical skills are required. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications is required. Familiarity with automated underwriting systems is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts, are required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:0-2 years of commercial underwriting or related credit analysis experience. Knowledge of financial statement analysis, accounting principles, and relevant industry trends and practices is required.
EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Additional banking education and formal credit training are preferred.
