Job summary

First Roles is seeking a Credit Analyst to support its commercial lending team in Kenner, LA. You will analyze financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow for commercial and consumer borrowers, spread financials, and prepare clear credit memos for sound lending decisions.

You will assess risk, recommend loan structures and risk ratings, monitor relationships through annual reviews and covenant tracking, and work closely with lenders, underwriters and loan operations to keep the portfolio

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Solid knowledge of lending regulations
• Formal credit training is a plus

Job description

A well-established community bank is seeking a Credit Analyst to support its commercial lending team. In this role, you will analyze financial statements, tax returns and cash flow for commercial and consumer borrowers, spread financials, and prepare clear credit memos that help lenders make sound decisions.

You will assess risk, recommend loan structures and risk ratings, monitor existing relationships through annual reviews and covenant tracking, and work closely with lenders, underwriters and loan operations to keep the portfolio healthy and compliant.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of commercial credit analysis experience, a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field, strong Excel and analytical skills, and solid knowledge of lending regulations. Formal credit training is a plus. This is a permanent, full-time role with competitive pay and benefits.
