Job summary

Uline, a family-owned leader in shipping and packaging materials, seeks a Credit Analyst to make informed credit decisions and evaluate financial data to keep customer orders moving. You'll support business operations for a growing North American company and work on-site at our Pleasant Prairie, WI location.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and 2+ years of relevant experience, with strong Excel/Word skills and analytical abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (preferred).
• 2+ years in credit, customer service or collections a plus.
• Experienced in Microsoft Word and Excel; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Review high volume customer orders daily to determine credit limits.
• Provide customer service via phone and email on credit decisions and inquiries.
• Analyze financial data, prepare reports, and present insights to leadership.
• Evaluate high-risk or potentially fraudulent orders and take action.

Position Responsibilities

• Review a high volume of customer orders daily, analyzing account history, credit reports and payment trends to determine credit limits.
• Provide excellent customer service through phone and email communications related to credit decisions and account inquiries.
• Analyze financial data, prepare reports, and present insights to leadership to support business decisions.
• Evaluate high-risk or potentially fraudulent order activity and take appropriate action.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree. A focus in Finance or Accounting preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in credit, customer service or collections a plus.
• Experienced in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong analytical, multitasking and decision-making skills.
