Credera in Chicago seeks an XD Design Engineering Intern who will bridge design and technology to create user-centered web experiences. You will collaborate with designers, researchers, and developers to solve real business challenges.

After onboarding, you’ll join a project team, contribute to client work, and build front-end solutions using modern web technologies. You’ll also explore AI-enabled experiences and iterative product development in a supportive consulting environment.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Human–Computer Interaction, Informatics, Digital Media, or a related field
  • Foundational experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript through coursework, projects, internships, research, or extracurricular activities
  • Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks or technologies through academic or personal projects
  • Demonstrated academic achievement
  • Leadership experience through student organizations, coursework, work experience, athletics, or community involvement
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Willingness to relocate to a Credera office location for the duration of the internship, if applicable

Our internship program combines hands‑on project experience, technical learning, professional development, mentorship, and networking opportunities designed to accelerate your growth. After onboarding and training, you'll join a project team and contribute to real client work while gaining exposure to modern design engineering practices, emerging technologies, and a variety of industries.
