Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an experienced Credentialing Specialist to manage advanced credentialing and privileging processes, ensuring regulatory compliance. This role acts as SME and liaison among medical staff, administration, and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities include auditing verification processes, coordinating applications through committee structures, and preparing reports for the Governing Board, with ongoing development of credentialing practices in line with

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of experience in credentialing or related field.

Responsibilities

• Audit and evaluate verification processes for medical staff and AP professionals.
• Review primary source verification and ensure regulatory policies are followed.
• Coordinate applications through hospital review and committee meetings.
• Audit files for regulatory surveys and present findings to surveyors.
• Prepare final Credentialing Report for Governing Board.
• Maintain knowledge of medical staff bylaws and credentialing policies.
• Collaborate with manager/director to act on credentialing recommendations.
• Lead ongoing development of delineation of privileges with physician input.
