Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a Credentialing Data Specialist to manage the credentialing database, audit provider records, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will verify, update, and maintain physician data while delivering accurate reports to medical staff offices and stakeholders.

The role requires strong MS Office skills, independent work style, and excellent communication in a fast-paced health system environment.

Qualifications

Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and attention to detail.
Experience with healthcare environment, HIPAA privacy and security policies.
Ability to troubleshoot credentialing systems and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

Manages credentialing software database, auditing and maintaining provider data.
Verifies, edits, and manages non-credentialed physicians and health extenders.
Develops and delivers performance and compliance reports.
Ensures regulatory compliance with licensure, board certification, and malpractice insurance.
Provides statistical reports to medical staff offices and stakeholders.
Maintains confidentiality and supports special projects.
