Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to support Medical Staff credentialing across our busy organization. You will facilitate applications, reappointments, proctoring and competencies, interfacing with physicians and management.

The role requires proven credentialing experience, strong written and spoken communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will join a collaborative, patient-focused team.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience in Credentialing or relevant training and/or experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintains and communicates status of work progress, and anticipates work production scheduling requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated ability to consistently complete assignments with no supervision.

Responsibilities

Ability to function in a demanding environment by navigating multiple projects simultaneously, and effectively supporting a busy Medical Group. This position is responsible for assigned Medical Staff as assigned by Credentialing Supervisor. Facilitates all aspects of credentialing including applications, reappointments, proctoring and competencies. Interfaces with physicians, management, and co-workers in a positive and professional manner.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Proven work experience in Credentialing or relevant training and/or experience.
• Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist Preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintains and communicates status of work progress, and anticipates work production scheduling requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written, oral and graphic forms.
• Demonstrated ability to consistently complete assignments with no supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $56,160.00 to $75,753.60 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
