This on-site role manages credentialing for physicians and allied health professionals with a focus on accuracy, timelines, and collaboration with hospital leadership.

Qualifications

• HIM and/or Medical Staff credentialing experience preferred.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with physicians, APPs, and hospital leadership.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate credentialing and recredentialing for medical staff and allied providers.
• Verify provider credentials: education, training, licensure, certifications, work history, malpractice coverage, references.
• Assist with Medical Staff committee meeting prep: agenda, credentialing reports, and documentation.
• Monitor expiration dates for licenses, certifications, DEA registrations, and other credentials.
• Ensure CMS/state standards and organizational policy compliance.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and providers to resolve credentialing issues.

In thisrole, you will manage the credentialing and recredentialing process forphysicians and allied health professionals across the AMG hospital system. Theideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent communicationabilities, and experience working in a healthcare credentialing environment. Thisis not a remote or hybrid position.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Coordinatethe credentialing and recredentialing process for medical staff and alliedhealth providers.
• Verifyprovider credentials, including education, training, licensure, certifications, work history, malpractice coverage, and professional references.
• Assistwith Medical Staff committee meeting preparation, including agenda development, credentialing reports, and committee documentation.
• Monitorexpiration dates for licenses, certifications, DEA registrations, and otherrequired credentials.
• Ensurecompliance with standards established by CMS, state regulations, andorganizational policies.
• Collaboratewith hospital staff and providers to resolve credentialing issues efficiently.
