Job summary
Mission Pet Health's Blairsville Animal Hospital in Blairsville, GA is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join a full-service practice delivering advanced medical and diagnostic care with a compassionate approach.
You will perform nursing, anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, radiology and lab work while mentoring teammates, educating clients, and upholding high care standards in a collaborative environment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
- Current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
- Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
- Calm and efficient in fast-paced or stressful situations.
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
- One year of veterinary industry experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care as part of the medical team, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and conducting lab work.
- Lead and mentor the medical team to ensure efficient workflows and staff growth.
- Partner with clients by educating them on treatments, reviewing medical records, and addressing questions.
- Contribute to a positive hospital culture through training and feedback.
