Job summary

Twin Peaks Veterinary Center in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our AAHA-accredited, four doctor practice. You will utilize top-level technical and client service skills to deliver high-quality patient and client care, including venipuncture, catheter placement, digital radiology, anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, pharmacy and nursing care.

Evening and weekend hours are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Veterinary Technician Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of veterinary hospital practices and procedures.
• Strong organizational and time management skills including managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Twin Peaks Veterinary Center - Tucson, Arizona

Twin Peaks Veterinary Centeris looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our AAHA-accredited, 4 doctor practice. In this position you will utilize superior technical and client service skills to their fullest - delivering the highest quality patient and client care. Applicants should be skilled in the following areas: venipuncture, catheter placement, digital radiology, anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, pharmacy and nursing care. Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Interact with a variety of clients and employees in a professional, caring, compassionate, and tactful manner.
• Basic knowledge of the generic and brand names, common uses, and side effects of drugs utilized in a veterinary practice.
• Basic knowledge of medicalequipment and terminology
• Basic proficiency with a variety of computer programs including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Practice Management software (PIMS)
• Basic written, verbal, and active listening communication skills with a customer-oriented approach
• Basic analytical, critical thinking, judgment, andproblem-solving skills.

Pay Range: $18-21 (with CVT and depending on experience)
