Poway Animal Hospital, part of AmeriVet Veterinary Partners, seeks a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our 3-doctor practice in Poway, CA. The RVT will assist with exams, dentistry, anesthesia, and patient care, while delivering excellent client service in a friendly team environment.

Ideal candidates have RVT/CVT/LVT certification, strong animal handling, and teamwork skills, and can contribute to a collaborative treatment team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT).
• Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT).
• Proficiency in dentistry, extractions, anesthesia, and procedure assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.
• Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines.
• Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records.
• Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
