Job summary

AmeriVet Veterinary Partners' Plaistow Kingston Animal Medical Center is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate, team‑oriented practice. In our state‑of‑the‑art facility you will assist veterinarians, handle and restrain animals, and educate clients on best pet care while maintaining accurate records.

• Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• CVT/RVT/LVT certification preferred or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.
• Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines.
• Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records.
• Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean, organized work environment.

Job description

At Plaistow Kingston Animal Medical Center, in our state-of-the-art facility we provide high-quality advanced medical and surgical care to the surrounding communities. We are the blend and mixture of country while only being minutes to the seacoast. With easy commuting off the major interstate.

We are currently looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician that wants to provide this type of care while they enjoy working with a fun, energetic and enthusiastic team. Our cultures focus is Communication, Teamwork, Patient care and Trust. We do many fun activities together as a group and are provided with Coffee/Tea or Hot Cocoa of our choice every Friday! Qualifications

• Credentialed, Licensed as a veterinary technician.
• Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred – or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.
• Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.

Pay Range

Up to $27.00 based experienced and credentials
