Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• Current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
• Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
• Calm and efficient in fast-paced or stressful situations.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• One year of experience in veterinary industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care as part of the medical team, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
• Lead and mentor the medical team to maintain efficient workflow and support skill development.
• Educate clients on treatments, review medical records with pet owners, and address questions.
• Contribute to a positive hospital culture through training and maintaining high standards.
