Job summary

Brafton is seeking a highly creative Videographer & Editor to execute all aspects of our video production, coordinating with a producer for on-location and in-house shoots. The role requires a strong background in cinematography, lighting, and audio, with proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects.

You will shoot, edit, and direct talent, develop storyboards, and ensure timely delivery while traveling 30-60% as needed. Quincy, MA facility maintenance also falls under this role.

Qualifications

• Formal degree in cinematography or video/film production, or equivalent professional experience.
• Understanding of camera operation, lighting, and audio capture for full production workflows.
• Excellent videography and editing skills; able to direct talent and oversee on-camera performances.
• Proficient with Canon C200 or equivalent, 3-point lighting, and sound recording/mixing.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, Audition; After Effects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time execution and delivery of high quality video productions.
• Keep a pleasant and creative work atmosphere.
• Shoot and edit on-location and in-house video productions.
• Create storyboards for narrative work.
• Coach on-screen talent and voice talent.
• Conduct video equipment maintenance at Quincy, MA facility.
• Travel regularly (approximately 30-60%).
• Keep current with trends in video production.
• Promote the Video Department across the business.
